- ➤ Six local hospitality workers were recognized for excellence in customer service when they received the quarterly R.E.A.C.H. Awards on January 20 at a luncheon at the Southwest Wyoming Regional Airport. Sweetwater County Travel and Tourism presented the awards — honoring these employees for their role in supporting our tourism industry. Wyo4News
- ➤ WWB and volunteers packed 82,824 meals in Rock Springs — their efforts combined Pepsi’s Packing Out Hunger with the Cans for Cans Food Drive to help those in need. This successful drive demonstrates a strong local commitment to hunger relief. Rocket Miner
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission voted 4 (with 2 dissenting) to offer an online-only hunter safety course for adults, which will be available by early 2027. Some instructors worry that without in-person training, new hunters may miss important hands-on lessons. WyoFile
