- ➤ On Jan. 15, a federal administrative court invalidated Jonah Energy’s Normally Pressured Lance drilling permits in the Green River Basin after finding the project violated Clean Air Act ozone rules (WildEarth Guardians filed an appeal in 2018). - ➤ Green River High School senior Tavia Arnell, a state swimming champion, was named to the USA Swimming's 2024-25 Scholastic All-American list on January 21 for meeting high academic and athletic standards - she has won eight state championships and will swim for Colorado State next year.
