- ➤ The Wyoming Senate approved a school funding bill on Thursday to add $127.1 million over two years and boost teacher salaries, add nurse and counselor jobs, plus require a minimum of 17 teachers in small districts. Lawmakers plan further adjustments when the bill reaches the House. WyoFile

- ➤ Western Wyoming Family Planning in Rock Springs announced it will close on March 31 due to ongoing challenges and funding issues; patients are urged to call the clinic (307-362-6813) for help transferring records. Wyo4News

- ➤ Rock Springs High School senior Koen Asper won the 100 Yard Freestyle on Friday, Feb. 20 at Cheyenne East High during the 4A Wyoming Boys State Swimming and Diving Championships — the Green River 200 Yard Medley Relay team also claimed the state title. Wyo4News
- ➤ Playing on the road in Cheyenne, the Mustang women (18-9, 5-4 in Region IX) won 87-64 while the men lost 78-74 on Friday. Both teams will play tonight against Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington. Wyo4News
