Western Wyoming Community College announced Monday the passing of student Meeka Iwen (death reported as suicide) and confirmed counseling services are available to support students and staff.

On Monday, legislative committees advanced two Medicaid measures to increase ambulance reimbursement and add Medicaid coverage for licensed birth centers—steps aimed at addressing rural health challenges.

The bills now move forward for further legislative review.
