- ➤ On March 10, the 2026 Southwest Regional State Math Contest was held at Western Wyoming Community College’s Rushmore Gym where students from 14 schools solved 40 questions and two team challenges; Lincoln Middle School topped its group (grades 6 to 8) while Evanston High School won for older students. - ➤ Mikayla LaPointe, a new Family Nurse Practitioner at Family & Occupational Medicine Clinics of Sweetwater Memorial, began seeing patients on March 16 at the 3000 College Drive clinic in Rock Springs. Born and raised locally, she plans to build lasting community ties. Wyo4News
