- ➤ Rock Springs’ Broadway Theater will host two tribute shows in April as The Sweetwater County Concert Association honors the Beach Boys with Sail On performing on April 3—bringing popular songs like Surfin’ USA—and Neil Diamond with Denny Diamond Svehla performing on April 6. Tickets cost $20 for adults, $15 for seniors, and $10 for students and can be purchased online or at the Rock Springs Main Street/URA office at Bunning Hall. Wyo4News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Kemmerer city council rejected a proposal from Sabot Consulting to build a 900-bed immigration jail funded by a city bond and staffed by an Alaskan Native corporation—council members said the plan did not suit the town's needs and posed financial risks amid an ongoing economic transition. Residents voiced strong opposition at the public meeting, and the proposal will not be pursued. WyoFile
