- ➤ Brian Nesvik, a longtime Wyoming wildlife warden, testified on Capitol Hill yesterday and promoted an 'America first' plan with simplified rules as he awaits confirmation to lead the US Fish and Wildlife Service—he was introduced by key local figures and faced little criticism from senators. - ➤ After a March 18th ruling, the U.S. 10th Circuit Court of Appeals allowed public access to 3 million acres by legalizing corner crossing for hunters and hikers—local ranchers worry that future measures may impose conditions to keep public use compatible with ranching. The Wyoming Legislature is expected to study potential new rules on corner crossing before the next session begins next year. WyoFile

- ➤ The 17th annual Premier Bone and Joint Centers high school blood drive challenge ended on March 26th with 13 high schools donating a total of 1,271 pints of blood—Green River Wolves led with 365 pints, Rock Springs Tigers with 349, and Campbell County Camels with 130. The State Commissioners Blood Drive Cup was announced at a basketball event on March 13th in Casper. Wyo4News
