- ➤ The Rock Springs Main Street/URA is now taking vendor applications for the summer Main Street Market and the event will run on Thursday evenings from 4 to 7 p.m. beginning July 10 through September 4 — the market will return to the former South Main Street layout. Wyo4News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Today the City of Rock Springs uses nearly 300 goats from Goat Green LLC to clear nuisance vegetation from Bittercreek and Deadhorse Creek channels near Pilot Butte Ave — citizens are advised not to touch the electric fence and to keep pets leashed; if time allows, the goats will also graze along Dead Horse Creek until April 6. - ➤ Former Sen. Al Simpson made his final visit to the Capitol on March 27th as he lay in state in a flag-draped casket carried by a six-soldier honor guard — his family will hold a celebration of life today at 11 a.m. at the University of Wyoming Arena Auditorium to honor his long career. WyoFile
