- ➤ The Bureau of Land Management plans to remove an estimated 3,371 wild horses from over 2,100 square miles of checkerboard lands managed by Rock Springs field offices if legal appeals do not block the effort—public comments are due by April 30. The first roundups from Salt Wells Creek and Adobe Town will begin July 15 while additional removals from the Great Divide Basin are scheduled for 2026. WyoFile
