- ➤ PacifiCorp extended a lifeline to the Dave Johnston coal-fired plant near Glenrock and confirmed that the Naughton plant near Kemmerer will end coal burning by year's end. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Play And Learn School in Rock Springs announced on April 3 that it will permanently close on April 30 due to financial challenges and staffing shortages—factors that made it hard to keep enrollment growing and costs down. Administrators met with staff and notified parents and are working with the YWCA to help families and employees transition. Wyo4News
- ➤ Sweetwater County School District #2 is holding its 2025/26 Kindergarten Roundup today for new families to register for the upcoming school year—parents should visit their child’s school or contact them for a registration link and screening appointment. Wyo4News

- ➤ The Bureau of Land Management will remove wild horses from a 2.1 million acre area in Sweetwater County—an area known as Wyoming's checkerboard region—in July. Rocket Miner
