GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ On April 11th, the Sweetwater County Sheriff's Office signed a memorandum with ICE to expand its participation in the ICE 287(g) program and the agreement is pending federal approval. The pact will soon allow up to five specially trained deputies to enforce limited federal immigration laws—making it the first local law enforcement agency in Wyoming to join the task force. Wyo4News
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ On April 11, Friday Area High School soccer games were held with Kelly Walsh hosting girls and boys matches at Rock Springs at 3:00 and 5:00 p.m., while Natroan County held similar contests in Green River. Softball doubleheaders occurred at 3:30 p.m. as Wheatland played at Rock Springs and Torrington competed in Green River. Wyo4News
