The Sweetwater County Board of County Commissioners voted last week to lower the speed limit on unpaved, unmarked county roads to 45 mph—this change follows a new state law and guidance from WYDOT.
The Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office said enforcement will continue to focus on safety and education, and drivers who exceed the 45-mph limit may be cited for speeding.
Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County began remodeling the parking area in front of the MHSC Specialty Clinics at 1180 College Drive on Monday; the work will limit parking until July.
Patients should use the main hospital doors or park near the Sweetwater Regional Cancer entrance—this will help them shorten their walk.
