- ➤ On May 2, the Bureau of Land Management approved the Dry Creek Trona Mine Project south of Green River in Sweetwater County. Pacific Soda, LLC is set to build mine well fields and processing facilities — plans that will create up to 2,000 jobs during construction and 300 full-time positions when the mine begins operating. - ➤ Western Wyoming Community College announced its two Outstanding Graduates (Hagen DeWitt from Lyman and Wyatt McDermott from Thermopolis) at the Student Government Association Awards banquet on April 24.
