GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Emergency water releases from Flaming Gorge Reservoir were ordered on April 17 to support Lake Powell after record low snowpack. Wyoming Commissioner Gebhardt said 13,000 acres of farmland and three boat ramps will lose water access as reservoir levels drop, impacting fisheries and recreation (impacts may continue through summer). HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The Wyoming Department of Health launched an online tool that shows 30 sites in 22 counties where residents can get free Narcan, a drug that stops opioid overdoses. The map (with site addresses and hours) is part of the state's effort to curb overdose deaths. WyoFile
