EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ GRHS students excelled at last week’s State Art Symposium in Casper, earning 93 blue ribbons (a 55% success rate, the highest among Wyoming schools). Winning art will be on display at the GRHS Gymnasium from Monday through Thursday, May 11, with a silent auction to aid a student with illness. Wyo4News
- ➤ Farson-Eden School and Sweetwater County School District No. 1 recognized student teams that earned top placements in the national MAGIC Capture the Flag Cybersecurity Puzzle Challenge (national event). HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Sweetwater County officials reported that local behavioral health services face a critical shortage of psychiatric physicians. Commissioner Island Richards presented a report after a recent meeting of the Southwest Counseling Services Board, noting that over 42,000 residents rely on barely one psychiatrist. WyoFile
