The Sweetwater Shrine Club will sell 10 pound bags of Vidalia Onions this Thursday and Friday at the Rock Springs Honda/Toyota on Center Street and at the Harley Davidson parking lot on Unita Drive in Green River from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. or until sold—proceeds help support the shrine's yearly operating costs and local programs.

Registration for Sweetwater County BOCES Summer Enrichment Programs will open online next Monday, May 12 so that students can enroll in courses starting the first week in June—programs include Astronomy, Camper Invention, Cooking, Music, Photography, Shakespeare Symposium, Summer Theater for Youth, and Technology.

BLM’s management plan for 3.6 million acres in the Rock Springs area remains active even after earlier reports claimed it was canceled—a draft reconciliation bill scheduled for 8:15 a.m. MST today could block its enforcement, prompting local lawmakers to debate its future.
