- ➤ New York Times bestselling author Jennifer A. Nielsen will visit Sweetwater County May 13-15 under a WY-BILT Literacy Grant and the Sweetwater County Library Foundation, holding school visits and public events in Rock Springs and Green River—she will offer book signings and history presentations that connect local heritage to her work. This series of events will engage students and families with her historical and fantasy fiction. Wyo4News
- ➤ Western Wyoming Community College held its Nurse Pinning Ceremony at 1 p.m. yesterday where twenty-eight nursing students were pinned with remarks from Jody Guthrie and Michelle Cordova — the school then held its student commencement at 5 p.m. in Rushmore Gym with addresses from Western Outstanding Graduates and a keynote from alumnus Dr. Tony Pedri at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County.
