A local woman injured in a car accident six years ago won her lawsuit and a $1.3 million verdict in Sweetwater County+ her long legal battle lasted several years+ with the ruling delivered recently.
🎭 Culture
This summer, free Wednesday concerts in Bunning Park will start June 4 with county band Good Time Charlie — the series will run weekly until August 27 with a break on July 30 when Wyoming’s Big Show takes over, and food concessions will be available at every event.
🏛️ Government
Yesterday, the Southwest Wyoming Regional Airport took delivery of a 2008 Oshkosh Stryker 3000 — an upgraded Aircraft Rescue Firefighting truck that replaces the 1999 model and increases water/foam capacity by 50%.
It works with the 2015 Rosenbauer Panther 1500, and the airport will update the truck’s logo in the coming weeks.
