Registrations are open for two annual parades.
The Flaming Gorge Day Parade is on Saturday, June 27 (10 a.m. on Green River Flaming Gorge Way) and Liberty Day Parade is on Saturday, July 4 (from Western Wyoming Community College down Gateway Boulevard) with a theme celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary.
Rock Springs Chamber of Commerce celebrates 90 years since its 1936 incorporation with an event honoring its community advocacy and support for local businesses (a milestone for the city).
Local duo Ellie and Austin will perform with Amy Rasdall, Matt Cutting, and Jerad Leish at Bunning Park on Wednesday, June 10 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. as part of the Concerts in the Park series.
Today, county-folk singer Angela Perry performs at the Downtown Rock Springs Brown Bag Concert Series at Bank Court from noon to 1:30 p.m., and Wednesday, duo Ellie and Austin bring pop and alternative music to Bunning Park at 7 p.m. Bring chairs + blankets for this free event.
Auditions for the summer production 'The Frog Prince' will be held Monday, June 15 at 10:00 a.m. at Rock Springs High School Theater (K–12 students from Sweetwater County should arrive between 9:45 and 10 a.m.), and the play will perform Saturday, June 20 at 1:00 p.m.
