Greg Bailey—longtime McDonald’s owner—retires after more than 53 years with the chain and the Rock Springs and Green River restaurants were sold effective June 16, ending an era for the community.
He and his wife, Cindy, plan to stay local while looking forward to more travel.
The Community Fine Arts Center is celebrating the county’s upcoming birthday with the America’s 250th Birthday exhibit that features local art and an interactive wall — where guests may add photos or art trading cards.
The exhibit runs through July 11 and an Open House will be held on July 1 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 400 C Street.
