A Sweetwater County man was injured in a shooting Saturday evening around 5:45 p.m. on the 600 block of Antelope Drive near Rock Springs—he was taken to a local hospital and later airlifted for treatment while detectives investigate a possible family disturbance with no arrests made.

A federal lawsuit challenging Wyoming’s new voter registration law has drawn high-profile attorneys from across the country to defend Secretary of State Chuck Gray against claims by the Equality State Policy Center.

The law—set to take effect on July 1—requires proof of state residency and U.S. citizenship, which the plaintiffs say will burden voter participation.

Residents provided input at Sweetwater No. 1's board meeting last night at 6 p.m. as the district reviewed its revised firearms policy mandated by the new state law that allows concealed carry on school grounds — the board will hold a second public comment session before voting.
