Flaming Gorge Days is a two–day event that began yesterday in Green River and includes the conclusion of the 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament, a vendor fair open from 1–7 p.m., and a popular parade starting at 10 a.m. on Unita Drive led by Council member Sherry Buschman, with added activities such as a horseshoe tournament, car show, and a rock concert at Expedition Island beginning at 5 p.m.
🎭 Culture
Best-selling author Craig Johnson will appear in Sweetwater County today at 1 p.m. at Golden Hour Senior Center in Green River and at 6 p.m. at Holiday Inn Patio Room in Rock Springs — events presented by the Sweetwater County Library System — where Sheriff John Grossnickle will join him to discuss topics from the Longmire novels. His latest Longmire book, Return to Sender, was recently released.
