- ➤ The Red Desert Roundup Rodeo will take place July 25 and 26 at the Sweetwater Events Complex and features this year’s rodeo royalty—Taylor Herandez-Thoman from Green River High School, Ashten Folks from Farson-Eden Junior High, and Kennedy Kleinlein from Rock Springs Junior High. Taylor Herandez-Thoman will compete in the National High School Finals Queen competition at the venue in the coming week. Wyo4News
- ➤ International Day took place on July 7 in Bunning Park to celebrate the many nationalities in Rock Springs. The event showcased international food, beer, music and dancing — with bagpipe tunes by David Tarr-Sanchez — and drew a large crowd. Wyo4News
