Broadway Bargains, located at 429 Broadway, won July’s Golden Broom Award on July 7 for maintaining a clean and attractive storefront downtown Rock Springs (a recognition that celebrates small business efforts to create a welcoming shopping environment) as noted by Main Street/URA chairwoman Maria Mortensen.

Rock Springs will host its 100th anniversary International Day this Saturday at Bunning Park with free admission and diverse live entertainment.

The event starts with an 8 a.m. pancake breakfast ($6, coffee $1) and continues hourly until a 9 p.m. finale by Boheim Queen.

Stones Throe will headline today's Concerts in the Park at Bunning Park from 7 to 9 p.m. This free event features live music & food vendors for the community.
