- ➤ A Rock Springs woman, Alice Ione Halstead, 57, was arrested on July 11 and charged with attempted second-degree murder, domestic battery, and possession of a controlled substance after she allegedly shot her 37-year-old son in the neck during a fight at a Northpark home on June 21—he received emergency aid and is in hospital for treatment.
