GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Starting Monday, WYDOT crews will switch I-80 from head-to-head to a single lane in each direction near Point of Rocks and Black Butte Interchanges for about a week as they pave, mill, and grade work under the highway — flaggers will control traffic and drivers using Exit 130 should follow the service road. The project includes bridge work and grading and is set to finish by June 30, 2026 even though the contractor plans to complete most tasks in 2025. Wyo4News

- ➤ Hadley Thompson of Yoder won the All-Around Cowgirl World Championship at the National High School Finals Rodeo held yesterday at the Sweetwater Events Complex—she also finished first in Breakaway Roping and Goat Tying by scoring 1,520 points and beating Makenzie Cowan by 395 points. Wyo4News
