Today the internationally toured Aaron Ball Band will headline Concerts in the Park at 7 p.m. at Bunning Park in Rock Springs—bringing Americana, Southern Rock and Alternative Country to local fans.

On July 22, Sweetwater County School District #1 got a $225,000 grant from the 21st Century Community Learning Centers program to support after-school and summer learning programs at five schools.

The grant also funds Community Connections, which offers tutoring, mentoring and extra help to build ties in Rock Springs—boosting student growth.

A federal court dismissed a lawsuit filed by the Equality State Policy Center that challenged Wyoming’s new voter registration law for requiring proof of state residency and U.S. citizenship.

Secretary of State Chuck Gray praised the ruling as a win for Wyoming—saying the suit did not show that any voter suffered harm.
