This weekend Wyoming’s Big Show runs from Friday to Sunday at the Sweetwater Events Complex—offering concerts and family fun while Steak Night happens Friday at the Eagles in Green River and a barrel race plus a Chris Lane concert are set for Saturday in Rock Springs.

Wyoming Highway Patrol has entered a limited agreement with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to have one or two troopers in five counties complete a 40-hour online training and assist in immigration enforcement based on observed state law violations.

Gov. Mark Gordon said the program supports public safety while critics warn it may increase profiling and fear in local communities—officials will review the impact before expanding participation.
