Yesterday, Rock Springs held the Main Street Market on South Main Street, where nearly 50 vendors sold local goods and the first 100 shoppers at the Boxcar Info Booth received free tote bags — celebrating over 20 years of market history and National Farmers’ Market Week.
The Wyoming Winds Flute Choir and Jr. Flute Ensemble performed at 6 p.m. — adding festive local music to the event.
On August 7, a colorful 3-D ground sign was installed in Bank Court as a photo op area for local residents and visitors.
The new sign is part of a series of downtown updates — including street banners — that aim to boost the area's look.
More than 1,700 homes and businesses in Rock Springs will get 5-gigabit fiber internet this month+ network providers plan upgrades to support the new speeds.
