- ➤ Rock Springs High School announced its 2025 Hall of Fame inductees—local athletes, coaches, and community leaders—and urged the community to show Tiger Pride as the ceremony nears. Rocket Miner
- ➤ High school seniors and Western Wyoming Community College fall students in Sweetwater County can apply for the Fall/Winter 2025 Internship and Scholarship Program with the Broadway Theater to work in event management (Bunning Hall) as part of a program funded by Sweetwater BOCES; applications must be submitted by Monday, August 11 via the theater website or by phone. - ➤ Today, Farson-Eden High School named La Barge native David Jones as its new boys' head basketball coach, adding his strong ties to Wyoming basketball. He played at Piney High School, earned a degree in Physical Education from the University of Wyoming (and gained coaching experience at Northwest College and as a student manager for the Cowboys), which supports his new role.
