- ➤ The Sweetwater County School District No. 2 unveiled its new interactive scoreboard at Wolves Stadium on August 19th at 7:00 p.m. during the Wolves Scoreboard Howls event — video demonstrations and student performances from Green River High School enhanced the game-day experience and marked the start of the new school year. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ A USGS study compared elk groups that were fed in winter with those that were not and found that extra food raised calf numbers only a little while predators may cancel the gain—this means hunting benefits are small. Bridger-Teton National Forest Supervisor Chad Hudson recently decided to extend feeding at Dell Creek and Forest Park feedgrounds for three more winters. WyoFile

- ➤ The Southwest Wyoming Regional Airport is opening its new terminal in Rock Springs—this building marks a historic step in regional air service—as officials get ready for more flights. Rocket Miner
- ➤ Wyoming lawmakers advanced a bill on a 7—6 vote to decriminalize corner crossing by removing criminal trespass charges. The measure will be revisited in November for amendments—lawmakers remain uncertain if the Supreme Court will review the case. WyoFile
