2—after voicing concerns over its design and historical message during a council meeting.

On August 20, 2025, the Rock Springs City Council approved a resolution to buy a new fire alarm system from Statefire for $207,230.11 and $77,143 for roof repairs at the Civic Center by Big Horn Roofing, Inc.—this action updates key safety features.

The council also gave a second reading to an ordinance amendment to remove cash payouts for unused benefits—with a final reading set for September 2.
