Local churches in Rock Springs are collaborating to support September of Service for St. Christopher’s Highway of Sweetwater County—an initiative that began two years ago when congregations pooled resources.
The Churches Together project will run this month to aid local service efforts.
Both Rock Springs and Green River City Councils are in session today; Rock Springs will review a contract for nearly $543,000 for the Sunset Drive Water Main Project and an amendment to remove a $3,000 council cashout benefit while also discussing a new ordinance for a Resort Hotel Liquor License—Green River will consider community service agreements totaling $255,784 with local groups.
