The Sweetwater County Historical Museum in Green River explains that the Jack Morrow Hills and Jack Morrow Creek were named after Jack Morrow, a notorious figure whose colorful past defies easy explanation—details of the naming remain unclear.
The museum welcomes visitors Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
