- ➤ Local churches hold a hygiene drive called Churches Together to aid families in need by collecting full-size items such as shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, lotion, and other essentials at drop-off points including the Chamber of Commerce— the drive will end next Tuesday, September 30. Donated items will be distributed through local food pantries. Wyo4News
- ➤ Today, Broadway Theater in Rock Springs announced it will replace its outdated chairlift with a new ADA-compliant model—funded by a $10,000 Community Ties Local Grant from Union Pacific Railroad. No installation date was given, but the theater said the upgrade will improve accessibility for all patrons. Wyo4News
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Boys & Girls Club of Sweetwater County was awarded $50,000 from United Way of Southwest Wyoming for education. The grant will support programs for local youth in the county. Rocket Miner
