Lawmakers on the state's Joint Labor, Health and Social Services Committee are drafting a bill to raise Medicaid limits for nursing home residents from $50 and $2,000 to $100 and $5,000.
The change is meant to ease money strain and the draft will be reviewed again in November.
🏥 Health
Southwest Counseling Service received a $2.69 million federal grant to expand community mental health treatment in Sweetwater County.
The five-year project began September 30 and will serve 325 adults with serious mental illness through September 2031.
