Southwest Wyoming Regional Airport won the Airport Project of the Year Award for its $43-million terminal modernization project—expanding security and adding a new passenger boarding bridge.

Shannon Lucero, the airport's Operations and Business Manager, received the Aviation Achievement Award—recognizing her decade-long leadership in Wyoming aviation.

Southwest Wyoming Regional Airport—located in Rock Springs—received statewide and national honors this month for its innovation and leadership efforts.

Rock Springs — The Sweetwater County Fair Board and the Southwest Wyoming BMX Club are working together to set a 2025 indoor BMX race schedule that supports the facility's operations.

They will share the new schedule soon — as the plans are finalized.

The GRYFL all-stars won 27—0 over the RSYAFL in Green River during a youth football game in Sweetwater County.

The game is part of the ongoing all-star season for local youth leagues.
