- ➤ A partnership between Downtown Rock Springs Main Street URA and Whilser Chevrolet hosted Saturday’s Halloween Stroll and Trunk or Treat on North Front Street where over 20 businesses participated and thousands of visitors gathered—FedEx, Miners Hockey, and Twisted Sisters Party Co. were named winners for their themed displays—and the event united local families and organizations. - ➤ Kathy Karpan, a longtime public servant and former secretary of state from Rock Springs, died Friday in Cheyenne at 83—she served from 1987 to 1995 and helped change business laws while mentoring new leaders. WyoFile
- ➤ Southwest Wyoming Regional Airport will start charging a $6 per day parking fee early November—having completed the $1.4 million parking improvement project this week to support terminal upkeep and local air service.
