- ➤ The U.S. Bureau of Land Management extended the public comment period to Dec. 18 for a proposed change to the 3.6 million acre resource management plan near Rock Springs—officials said the plan would allow more fossil fuel extraction. A public meeting is set for December 3 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Sweetwater Events Complex to review the amendment. WyoFile
