- ➤ Rock Springs Firefighters Local 1499 & the Fire Department are sponsoring the Toys for Kids program by collecting new toy or monetary donations dropped off at the fire station on College Drive until 7:00 p.m. on December 7. Children up to age 12 in need can sign up at the Food Bank of Sweetwater County on November 13 and November 25, with toy distributions planned for December 14 and December 16. Wyo4News

- ➤ Western Wyoming Community College cut its women’s volleyball program on November 11 due to budget cuts—leaving players and coaches without warning and sparking concerns over possible discrimination—and a board meeting will be held on November 13 at 6 p.m. to seek answers from administrators.
