Thousands of residents and visitors gathered at Bunning Park on November 29 as Rock Springs flipped the switch to officially kick off the holiday season.

Christmas in the Park’s 'First Light' event took place yesterday at 5:30 p.m. in Bunning Park with more than 100,000 lights, free LED foam stick lights for the first 200 visitors, and a Horizon Theater performance at 6 p.m. The park will host live entertainment — including food trucks, hot cocoa, and the Lions Club Holiday Train — every Friday and Saturday night until January 1.

Snowman Paint Party

A Christmas Carol

7:30 p.m. — Broadway Theater — $15 for adults, $10 for children and seniors — Enjoy the timeless tale of Scrooge in a captivating theatrical experience.
