- ➤ The YWCA of Sweetwater County will take over the Power of the Purse fundraiser in 2026 after Kolbi McKenzie ended her decade-long role, with the event set for Saturday, May 2 to support local women and children. Wyo4News
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Broadway Theater will get a new chairlift funded by an $18,000 grant from the Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund. The Rock Springs URA said the upgrade to the old lift is a priority and the new one is expected by spring. Wyo4News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Gov. Mark Gordon announced on Thursday that he will designate eight segments of the Sublette Pronghorn Migration Corridor used by about 5,000 pronghorn east of Farson while excluding two segments favored by some wildlife advocates and local livestock interests; he will soon appoint a local working group to review the plan.
