On April 16th, the Rock Springs City Council approved a chicken ordinance amendment by a 5–4 vote that allows residents to raise chickens if kept in a covered or fenced backyard enclosure—Mayor Max Mickelson said if animal control calls increase, the council will quickly revisit the rule.
