Jessica Evans was named May Volunteer of the Month by the Rock Springs Main Street/Urban Renewal Agency for her long-standing dedication to Downtown Rock Springs and her creative work on summer events.

She designed Wanted posters for the Downtown Scavenger Hunt and has championed the area for six years while running her own businesses.

WyoRadio won four awards at last week's Wyoming Association of Broadcasters Awards Ceremony held at the Cody Holiday Inn Convention Center.

The station earned first and second in Best Public Service for its local blood drives, first in Best Single Commercial for a Broadway Burger Station ad, and second in Best Use of Digital Media — with its award money donated to Vitalant.
