Mint Clean was named the first Downtown Rock Springs Golden Broom Award winner on August 4th by the Rock Springs Main Street—Urban Renewal Agency.

The award honors businesses that keep their storefronts and sidewalks clean and inviting, and nominations for future recipients are now open.

Western Wyoming Community College (Western) is making steady progress on its new Health Science wing, an $11.1 million expansion in Rock Springs that will support enhanced health programs.

Construction is ongoing as the project continues to advance.

During Wyoming’s Big Show last week, Sweetwater County 4‑H and FFA events named grand and reserve champions in shooting and horse competitions and gave them brand new prizes—recognizing the hard work of local youth.
